debate 3.0

Well for the most part, this third debate was the same questions, same answers. I’m so sick of the “What programs will you cut now that the economy has gone to shit?” question. They’re not going to answer it, give it up already. One interesting question though, the one about the candidates’ negative ad campaigns. Didn’t see that one coming. And what was the fascination with Joe Plumber? Mr. Plumber, whoever he is, must have felt extra special tonight.

I liked what Obama had to say about helping students pay for college. McCain’s troops/teachers plan sounded a little sketchy..how does being a soldier automatically make you capable of teaching, without any training? Maybe I misinerpreted it, but that’s what it seemed like he was saying..

I can’t believe the pundits are saying McCain did well tonight. He didn’t seem to come up with anything new. And, as always, he looked ridiculous..his smile is so creepy and unnatural looking! And he just seems so old and frail. I noticed him rolling his eyes twice, which came off as childish and even ignorant. When Obama didn’t agree with McCain, he’d either smile at the ridiculousness of the statement, or kindof look down and shake his head in disbelief, but he didn’t have a little angry fit. One other note—McCain shouldn’t mock Obama’s “eloquence” just because he has none himself.
